The HTF7500 Shipping and Storage Container consists of a lightweight, modular, shipping container to support Honeywell’s HTF7500 engine program with Embraer. The design/development and production of 24 units was successfully completed from 2023 to 2024.
· The container is a collapsable design where the lid can be collapsed and stored into the lower portion along with modular engine mounting feature, thus allowing two empty containers to take up space of one. This allows for considerable shipping savings with the reduced size.
· The cradle/ sub frame in which the engine is attached, attaches inside the container to the shock isolators and is fully removeable via quick release pins for use as an engine stand. This allows Honeywell to quickly remove the engine from the container for a faster cycle.
· Container dimensions allow use of lower cargo hold of certain aircraft with HTF7500 engine inside, as well in a stacked/collapsed condition.
